

What is Neuromodulation?
Neuromodulation is a non-invasive, drug-free approach that uses gentle, low-level electrical stimulation to directly influence brain activity and nervous system function — essentially nudging the brain toward healthier patterns of activation and regulation rather than waiting for it to get there on its own through training alone.
tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) delivers a mild, constant electrical current through small electrodes placed on the scalp, targeting specific brain regions to either increase or decrease their activity depending on what is needed. It works by shifting the resting state of neurons — making them either more or less likely to fire — which over time promotes lasting changes in how those regions function and communicate.
tACS (Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation) works similarly but delivers an alternating current that oscillates at specific frequencies, allowing it to synchronize with and directly influence the brain's own natural brainwave rhythms. This makes it particularly useful for conditions where the brain's timing and rhythmic activity are disrupted — such as sleep disorders, mood dysregulation, and cognitive difficulties.
tVNS (Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation) takes a different approach entirely — rather than stimulating the brain directly, it delivers gentle electrical stimulation to the vagus nerve through a small device placed at the ear or neck. The vagus nerve is one of the most important communication pathways between the brain and body, and stimulating it activates powerful regulatory effects across the brain, autonomic nervous system, immune system, and neurochemical pathways involved in mood, stress, inflammation, and cognition.
What is qEEG?

01. Aquisition
A QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram), often referred to as a brain map, is a detailed assessment of the brain's electrical activity that goes far beyond a standard EEG by applying advanced statistical analysis to produce a comprehensive picture of how the brain is functioning.

02. Artifacting
During the process, sensors are placed on the scalp to record the brain's electrical signals across multiple regions simultaneously, capturing the different types of brainwave activity — delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma — that reflect how various brain networks are operating and communicating with one another.

03. Analysis & Treatment
This data is then compared against a large normative database of healthy brains of the same age, allowing clinicians to identify specific areas where a person's brain activity deviates from what is considered typical — whether certain regions are overactive, underactive, too fast, too slow, or poorly connected to other regions. The result is a detailed, individualized map of the brain's unique patterns of dysregulation that serves as a powerful clinical guide
