Stress
Stress is the brain and body's natural response to demands, pressures, or perceived threats — and in small doses it can be useful, sharpening focus and driving performance. However, when stress becomes chronic and the brain and body are unable to adequately recover between demands, it transitions from a helpful response into a damaging one that affects virtually every system in the body.
